Here is our list of preferred books and apps to support you in working with a variety of issues that you might be dealing with in your journey right now.  If you click on the title, it will take you straight to Amazon or the App Store so you can look at the book or app to see if it is a good fit for you.  At the bottom of the list are also some websites that we have found helpful.

Books for Adults:

The Anxiety Workbook This book helps you in working with and through anxiety.

Stop Walking on Egg Shells by Paul Mason  If you have a difficult significant person in your life, this book empowers you with information to understand that person and how to manage that relationship.

Getting the Love You Want by Harville Hendrix  This book helps you understand ways in which your relationship is a re-creation of early life experiences in an attempt to have a successful "do-over".  It takes the intensity out of on-going fights when you realize that your relationship is trying to give you an opportunity to grow.

The General Theory of Love by Tomas Lewis, M. D. and Fari Amini, M.D.  This book talks about the brain structures involved in intimate relationships.  Understanding relationship through the brain function builds compassion and patience for the way we relate.

Mindsight by Daniel Siegel  This book is written by a learning expert in mindfulness.  Daniel Siegel covers a number of different life challenges and explains how the brain functions (in an easy to understand way) during each of these challenges and ways to work through them.

Rising Strong by Brene Brown  This book is about rising to emotional challenges.

Conscious Men: Mastering the New Man Code for Success and Relationships by John Gray  This book is about the modern man and how to work with the differences between men and women more successfully.  It illuminates the underlying biological reasons for differences, which makes them easier to work with and accept.
