Caprina Benson, MA, AMFT [LIC 160222]

Caprina is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with children, teens, young adults, and families. She is warm, non judgmental, and collaborative in her approach. She values being a steady, supportive presence as clients work through challenges and move forward with confidence.

Caprina has several years of experience working in school based and therapeutic settings. She often works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, family conflict, and changes or transitions in their lives.

Having grown up in the South Bay, Caprina feels grateful to continue supporting children, teens, and families in this community. Caprina received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Child Studies from Antioch University Los Angeles. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Child Development and Business from Texas Christian University. Outside of the therapy room, Caprina enjoys spending time with loved ones, practicing hot yoga, walking her golden retriever, and cooking new recipes.
